Job Description

Qualification : Should have BE/BTech/ME/MTECH/MS

The candidate will be responsible for the overall Systems and Network support in terms of installing, maintaining, configuring, tuning, consolidating applications, developing system administration scripts, planning version release upgrades and patches, security administration and leading in the
development of processes and policies surrounding server administration.

This administrator must also be involved with routine and special tasks such as

1. Hardware and Software Trouble Shooting
2. Installation of applications on windows or linux
3. Knowledge on Dekstop support
4. Documentation of standards, policies and system information
5. Networking Knowledge on configuring (VLANs, on Managed Switches)
6. Basic Knowledge on Router, Firewall and Switch Configurations.

The candidate should be able to monitor, troubleshoot, support and fix operating system, applications and hardware problems on desktop and server platforms.
The candidate must be an excellent team member, should be unafraid to assume ownership and be willing to exchange knowledge with the rest of the team. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and without supervision and capable of directing/mentoring other associates. The
candidate must be willing to assist other teams when needed. Must be willing to work in rotational Shifts during week days and weekends.

Ideal Candidate should have

1. Min 1 Year operational experience in Window environment

2. Knowledge of

a. Desktop, Laptop Server Hardware Management
b. Linux or Windows OS Knowledge
c. Basic Active Directory Server Administration
d. Basic Network knowledge
e. Basic Network and Application Monitoring knowledge using tools (Solarwinds/Nagios/)
f. Central Antivirus Server Management

3. Windows/Linux OS administration and troubleshooting

4. Should have Knowledge on
a. Windows 2008/2012 Server Administration
b. Web Servers (Apache, IIS) and MySQL Server Administration
c. Windows Active Directory Server Management
d. Troubleshooting Hardware like PC, laptops and printers,
e. Installing and Troubleshooting packages on Windows or Linux OS

Mandatory Skills:
1. RHCE/MCP/MCPIT/CCNA/AZURE Certification
2. DNS, DHCP, IIS and FTP
3. Windows Server 2008/2012 Administration/ Linux Administration
4. Good Communication Skills

Optional Skills/ Knowledge:
1. Azure/AWS
2. Vmware/Citrix
