Role & responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality training programs for freshers and junior technical staff. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in programming, web development, and databases, along with excellent communication and instructional skills. This role involves curriculum development, training delivery, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement of training effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training in programming languages (e.g., .NET, Java), databases, and web development.
- Ensure trainees understand the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with technical experts to assess training needs.
- Modify course content and delivery methods based on feedback and performance.
- Design and develop engaging training materials using a pedagogy-based approach.
- Support other trainers and contribute to collaborative training efforts.
- Plan and schedule training programs aligned with organizational goals.
- Track progress, manage timelines, and adjust plans as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate training outcomes.
- Provide feedback to trainees and document training effectiveness through reports.
- Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions.
- Use interactive teaching methods to enhance learning.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and training methodologies.
- Apply new knowledge to improve training quality.
- Maintain attendance records and performance reports.
- Provide regular updates to management on training progress.
- Communicate effectively with trainees, team members, and stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Take initiative and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Be proactive in addressing training challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., IT, admin) to ensure smooth training operations.
- Assist in training programs at other locations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a technical trainer or software developer.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, databases, and web technologies.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design effective training materials and assessments.
