Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale SAP projects, including hands-on experience with the SAP Activate methodology. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering multiple SAP implementation and rollout projects, demonstrating deep understanding of SAP best practices, stakeholder management, and project governance. This is a full-time opportunity based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation and rollout projects using SAP Activate methodology.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate across functional and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions with business users and leadership teams.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP project management with a successful track record in delivering complex SAP projects.
- Expertise in SAP Activate methodology and project governance frameworks.
- Experience managing SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules and their integration touchpoints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- PMP/Prince2 or SAP Project Management certification is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead cross-functional teams.
