Job Description

Job Summary :

We are looking for a motivated Python and Snowflake Developer with around 2 years of hands-on experience to support our data engineering initiatives.

You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integrations between Python applications and Snowflake s cloud data platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python for ETL/ELT processes.
Write efficient SQL queries and scripts to process and analyze data in Snowflake.
Design, create, and maintain Snowflake schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
Implement and schedule data jobs using Snowflake Tasks, Streams, and Snowpipe.
Optimize Python code and SQL logic for performance and cost-efficiency.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of data workflows.

Required Skills and Experience :

2+ years of experience in software or data engineering using Python.
Good understanding of Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, and storage/compute separation.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Snowflake-specific features (e.g., semi-structured data, time travel, streams/tasks).
Experience with data ingestion tools (Snowpipe, API-based ingestion, or ETL frameworks).
Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on tasks.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with dbt data orchestration tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Basic understanding of data modeling and analytics workflows.
Exposure to CI/CD for data pipelines.

Education :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
