Job Summary
Advantal Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Analyst (QA) to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of experience who are passionate about software quality and eager to learn QA processes in a fast-paced IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases .
- Execute test cases and identify/report bugs and errors to the development team.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Help in regression, integration , and system testing .
- Document test results and provide detailed reports to the QA lead.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC .
- Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts .
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills .
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
- Internship or academic project experience in QA or software testing.
- Exposure to basic automation tools like Selenium or Postman for API testing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology.
