Job Description
Responsibilities
Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning: Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business decision-making, optimize operations, and enhance customer experiences.
Data Mining and Analysis: Perform complex data analysis to extract actionable insights from various data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data collection, ingestion, processing, and distribution. This often involves ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration from various sources.
Ensuring Data Quality and Integrity: Implement data validation and cleaning processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions for data science applications to ensure performance and identify issues quickly.
Data Visualizations: Create intuitive visualizations and comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborative Model Development: Work closely with other data scientists and stakeholders to integrate data science models into the production environment, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
Required skills and qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, with a focus on statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, and Prophet.
Proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Experience with EDA, feature engineering and ML.
Familiarity with transformer-based models.
Good Analytical skills Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline.
Two or more years of project management experience
