Job Description
Qualification: 1) BE, B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA 2) Certification(s) on cloud services Azure or AWS 3) Certification(s) on container orchestrations Docker Swarm / Kubernetes / Openshift Experience: 2 yrs. to 4 yrs.
Responsibilities Design, Coding, Unit Testing and Documentation for a feature/module Maintenance of existing features/modules Working with Business Analysts and internal/external customers to ensure that requirements are understood Production of accurate, unambiguous technical specifications Participating in solution approach, test plan and code reviews Full ownership and accountability to deliver on agreed upon plans on schedule and to defined quality standards Ability to work with little day to day supervision from project and/or line manager Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Line or Project Manager Escalation of critical issues in a timely fashion Helping in improvement of engineering process and standards Managing DevOps pipeline (Jenkins, BitBucket, Sonar, Checkmarx, Whitesource, Burpsuite, etc.)
Effective coordination with Production DevOps and DevSecOps Technical Skills/Requirements Demonstrated expertise in building, shipping and supporting innovative, scalable microservices Strong familiarity with Object Orientation concepts Strong Experience in Java, J2EE, Core Java, Advance Java is must Strong Experience in working with database server is must Experience with WEB and API development frameworks like Spring is must Experienced in using Websphere,
WebLogic, JBOSS or Tomcat application servers Must be knowledgeable in at least one of the relational DBs (Oracle, Postgresql, DB2 or MS-SQL) Experience in AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery is preferred Good understanding of Java, J2EE, SOA/Web services, EAI patterns, long running business processes, UML and OOAD. Exposure to cloud environment (Azure or AWS) and Linux commands is must 2+ years of overall cloud development experience as DevOps engineer, preferably in a product development company Exposure to monitoring tools like AppDynamics Desired Domain Experience Prior experience in Agile/Scrum and secure development methodologies Banking or finance development experience a plus, but not mandatory
Required Skills: Excellent analytical skills Brilliant written, verbal and telephonic communication skills Ability to shape ideas and networking with key stakeholders using one s knowledge and experience.
Desired Competencies Requires expanded technical knowledge in own job discipline and broadens capabilities; has familiarity with product, applications and business requirements supported Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience,
judgement and precedents (e.g. address escalated technical issues, begins to perform peer code review) Uses prescribed guidelines or alternatives in analysing situations Has worked with current technologies and is proficient in the technologies to be used. Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work Understands business domain and has familiarity with product, applications and business requirements supported Explains complex information to others; gathers and translates business requirements
(1.) To maintain existing features, troubleshoot bugs , resolve ad-hoc requests and provide support for enhancement (major and minor) ornew developments based on businessor client requirements as well as from the functional and technical team of HCL on the project. (2.) To provide client support by presenting data, information, ticket resolution and day to day support activities like monitoring client requirements as well as keeping track of schedule for on time
