Job Description
Position
HSE Officer
Qualification
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field with Certifications in NEBOSH IGC & IOSH
Experience
A minimum of 6 years of experience (preferred).
Having experience in 132/33 KV Grid Station and 132 KV Overhead Line projects.
Key Tasks
- Preparation of project HSE plan in compliance with the requirements of client/ONEIC HSE Management System.
- Ensure all the ONEIC employees are completed the client mandatory trainings prior to mobilization to this contract.
- Ensuring all HSE activities are carried out as per the schedule mentioned in the Contract HSE Plan.
- Daily Site visit to ensure HSE compliance.
- Prepare weekly / Monthly site visit / Inspection schedule and monitor HSE compliance at site and review performance on new HSE activities.
- Formulate new HSE measures in consultation with the Site Engineer / Contract Manager.
- Impart training on HSE to engineers, Supervisors and workers as per project requirements.
- Render reports on HSE to ONEIC Project Manager, QHSE Dept. and client.
- Organizing various HSE Meetings, inspection of camps including Sub-Contractors and coordination of FAs & FWs.
- Take part in all HSE meetings and disseminate the points to the line staff.
- Carry out HSE inspection of camps to bring out hygiene / sanitation standards, environmental impact, effectiveness of fire prevention measures, and emergency drills in camps.
- Ensure Reporting and Investigation of all incidents including near misses.
- Interact with Project Team, supervisors and workers and discuss about HSE Issues.
- Maintain the Legal Register and monitor the implementation of the legal requirements.
- Review Risk Assessments based on the requirement or whenever necessary.
- Monitor the Permit to Work system being followed strictly at the site.

Gulf work Experience
Salary
Basic 445, HRA 125, Transport 50, Responsibility allowance 80 = Total OMR 700/-
Annual Leave & Air Ticket, 30 days p/a Yearly once.
Employment Status
Family Company will provide visa, ticket, medical insurance for wife plus 2 children up to the age of 18 years
