Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Deputy Manager to join our Enterprise Applications team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering Oracle ERP implementations, with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This role involves leading solution design, data migration, integrations, and client engagement across multiple domains such as Financials, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and/or Human Capital Management (HCM).
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Implementation & Project Leadership:
- Lead and support 23 full-cycle Oracle EBS implementations and at least 1 Oracle Fusion implementation.
- Drive end-to-end ERP project activities including requirement gathering, business process design, solution configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Act as a trusted advisor for Oracle ERP transformation journeys.
Solution Design & Business Process Mapping:
- Analyze business requirements, map them to Oracle best practices, and design To-Be processes for modules like Financials, SCM, or HCM.
- Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis and finalize RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) components.
Data Migration Strategy & Execution:
- Define data migration strategies from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion.
- Manage data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Support development and execution of data migration scripts and tools.
Integration & Technical Oversight:
- Oversee integration design and implementation using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other middleware solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams for development involving OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), APEX, and API integrations.
Testing & Deployment Support:
- Lead system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
- Coordinate defect triaging and resolution with functional and technical teams.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement & User Enablement:
- Conduct user training, develop training materials, and ensure successful knowledge transfer to end users.
- Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 57 years of hands-on experience in Oracle ERP consulting.
- Delivered 23 Oracle EBS and at least 1 Oracle Fusion implementation successfully.
- Expertise in at least one Oracle Fusion domain: Financials, SCM, HCM, or Technical (OIC, OTBI, BIP, APEX).
- Proficient in solution design, data migration, integration, and end-user training.
- Strong command over To-Be process design, Fit-Gap analysis, and RICEFW management.
- Experience in UAT support, defect resolution, and business cutover planning.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Oracle Cloud Certification in Financials/SCM/HCM or Technical Track.
- Experience with agile methodologies or Oracle Unified Method (OUM).
- Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Exposure to international implementations and global rollout strategies.
