Summary Posted: 20 November 2024 Requirements - Accurate knowledge of local environment & behaviors - Strong knowledge on High Voltage substation international standards & guidelines (IEC, IEEE, CIGRE) and related equipment - Strong knowledge on contract and project management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), or Engineering equipment package (EEP) type - Good knowledge / working experience of HVDC project plant engineering with Line Commutated Converters (LCC) and Voltage Source Converters (VSC) design. - Proficient with Autodesk CAD tools Revit & Navisworks - Good understanding of onshore civil engineering interface requirements - Leadership, analytical mind, rigorous and commitment, - Professional English spoken and written, - A bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related discipline - Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering management for EPC project, ideally in primary design for substation projects Roles & Responsibility - Ensure proper implementation of plant engineering process, - Convert project contractual documents into plant engineering requirements, - Experienced in Primary designs for 132 kV and above GIS/AIS Substation Engineering for Grid Interconnected Projects - Preparation of basic Single Line Diagram, Layout Plan & Section of Overall plant, Equipment control room building, Earthing Layout, DSLP Layout, Trench Layout etc - Define and/or control plant engineering planning for the project ensuring on time delivery, - Release plant engineering deliverables as per project planning & cost without non-conformity, - Support plant engineering planning and cost estimation for the project - Lead the design optimized substation & buildings layouts integrating all the required equipment considering their installation, operation, and maintenance constraints, - Interface with other disciplines - Answer to client, partners & suppliers technical queries related to plant engineering, - Lead change control impacting plant engineering deliverables & activities, - Support continuous improvement within plant engineering discipline,
