Job Description

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Relationship Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients. You will serve as the key point of contact for clients, helping them understand our products and services, addressing their needs, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Client Acquisition & Onboarding

      • Identify and approach potential customers through various channels (field visits, calls, references, etc.)

      • Conduct presentations and explain product offerings (e.g., loans, banking services, insurance, investment products)

      • Assist in completing account opening or application formalities

    2. Relationship Management

      • Maintain long-term, professional relationships with existing customers

      • Provide regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and resolve any service-related issues

      • Upsell or cross-sell relevant products based on customer profiles

    3. Sales & Revenue Generation

      • Meet assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets

      • Track leads and ensure timely conversions

      • Participate in promotional activities, camps, and marketing drives to generate business

    4. Customer Support & Problem Resolution

      • Handle client queries related to services, account issues, or transactions

      • Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery

      • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

    5. Reporting & Compliance

      • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions

      • Submit daily/weekly reports to the reporting manager

      • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    • Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Business, or Finance)

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Good knowledge of local geography and customer profile

    • Basic understanding of financial/banking products

    • Target-driven with a positive attitude

    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (preferred)

    Preferred Attributes:

    • Experience in banking, NBFC, insurance, or financial sales

    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

    • Customer-centric approach
