Embedded Systems Engineer @ Marcello Tech

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded systems firmware using C/C++ or Embedded C.
• Interface sensors, actuators, and communication modules (e.g., Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, GSM, LoRa) with microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.).
• Develop and deploy IoT solutions using platforms such as NodeMCU, Raspberry Pi, or similar.
• Integrate cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Blynk, ThingsBoard, etc.) for remote data monitoring and control.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in embedded and IoT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for hardware and software integration.
• Document design, implementation, and testing processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good understanding of embedded systems architecture.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers/microprocessors.
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming.
• Familiarity with IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTP, CoAP.
• Experience in using development tools like Keil, Arduino IDE, STM32CubeIDE, etc.
• Basic knowledge of PCB design and circuit debugging is a plus.
