Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Analysing vendor (reference) data across multiple data vendors across asset classes and to be able to interpret and analyse data flow in order to model them correctly into the Goldensource system.
- Technical ability to understand vendor infrastructure and design the best means to capture that data into our system.
- Has prior experience in working as a Scrum Master and has been managing agile projects using JIRA.
- Four or more years of experience in financial domain and a good understanding of various asset classes such as equities, fixed income and derivatives.
- High proficiency with SQL and intent to learn inhouse tools to model data.
- Proven data analysis abilities and preferred exposure to data from any major reference data vendor such as Bloomberg.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable
- insights and present functionality to clients and capability to display end to end ownership for features built.
- Defining functional test scenarios and guiding the QA teams in building test cases against these scenarios.
- Act as a functional interface between development and QA Teams explaining requirements to the development group and ensuring that the product being built meets the requirement.
- Validating the test cases and ensuring that the functionality is covered by these test cases and verification on User Interface.
Preferred candidate profile
- Should have worked for at least five years in the securities and/or trading domain, out of which 3 years working knowledge for at least one asset class such as Equity, Fixed income etc. and minimum of one year of working experience on reference data.
- Should have sound understanding of the software development life cycle
- Intermediate SQL working knowledge
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- M.B.A finance with experience in working as a business analyst. or B.E. with exposure to Financial markets / domain
