As a Cloud Operations Architect, You Will Be Responsible For:
- Having skills in aligning customer needs with cloud solutions and infrastructure management.
- Solving complex cloud and compute issues proactively for our customers on Akamai Connected cloud.
- Developing operational support cadences and workflows as part of the Global Cloud Operations team
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve challenges, identify deficiencies and assess the stability of customer cloud workflows
- Guiding and mentoring the front-line team with technical guidance and ensuring customers receive top-quality resolution
- Contributing to the growth of cloud and compute expertise through training, tech talks, knowledge base articles
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Possess extensive experience managing public cloud, serverless platforms, microservices, and expertise in computer science.
- Demonstrate understanding of cloud concepts; solve issues in VMs, Kubernetes, Networking, Security, Storage, Databases.
- Have expertise in networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, CDN, and load balancing.
- Have knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
- Have familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD ,Terraform, Ansible, Chef and Puppet.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to excel in a dynamic, customer-facing role.
