Aws Cloud Engineer @ Barclays

Job Description

Join us as a Aws Cloud Engineer at Barclays, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality and governance standards. Youll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionise our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences.

• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure including:
• EC2, ALB/NLB, VPC, Route Tables, NAT, Security groups, Auto Scaling.
• Develop and maintain Cloud Formation templates for infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage AWS service catalog products and custom provisioning use cases.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Chef/Ansible.
• Build and manage Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes(EKS preferred).
• Solid understanding and hands on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems.
• Familiarity with SSL certificates, security protocols.

• AWS certifications such as AWS Solution architect or AWS DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with terraform or other IAC tool in addition to Cloud Formation.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Elasticsearch, Prometheus.
• Ability to write scripts in Python or similar language.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
