Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Application Support to join our team in the US Shift. This role is crucial for maintaining application stability and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be the first line of response for technical issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing Technical Support: Troubleshoot basic application issues.
  • Respond to user queries, and ensure consistent application performance and availability.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor applications to identify potential issues and implement appropriate fixes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and analyze underlying causes of incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on support processes and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. Requirements
    Required Skills & Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in an Application Support or similar technical support role.
    • Technical Expertise: Understanding of application architecture, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and basic networking concepts.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset to diagnose complex issues and develop actionable solutions.
    • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills across chat, email, and voice, with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Support Tools: Hands-on experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Freshdesk), monitoring tools, and other support technologies.
    • Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL or experience working with relational database systems will be a plus.
    • Customer Focus: Empathy and responsiveness in handling user queries and incidents.
    • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work during US business hours (Night Shift IST).
