Position: Sales & BD Manager Egypt, Africa,

Location: Hyderabad Office

Department: International Business / Export Sales

Reports To: Head of International Sales


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager for our APIs in Egypt & Africa. The role involves formulating market entry strategies, managing Agent relationships, achieving sales and revenue objectives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of these markets, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term business relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new customers and business partners in Egypt. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for achieving sales and market share objectives. Identify market trends, pricing, and competitive positioning.
  • Sales Management: Plan and forecast sales for Egypt, Africa. Achieve sales and revenue targets as per the annual plan. Maintain strong relationships with customers, agents and key stakeholders.
  • Marketing: Develop promotional strategies, pricing policies, and marketing campaigns for the assigned markets. Organize and participate in exhibitions, seminars, and meetings in the region.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: Maintain understanding of local regulations and ensure products adhere to applicable legal requirements in Egypt. Support registration and re-registration of products as required. Coordinate with internal departments and customers for timely and successful product registrations.
  • Sales Support & Training: Train and guide local agents and distributors to effectively market and sell the company's products. Provide ongoing support for sales, pricing, and after-sales services.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present periodic sales reports, market analyses, and competitive analyses. Recommend new products based on market demands.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing with a focus on Egypt.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, regulations, and distribution networks in the assigned territories.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English. Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
