Job Description
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, system engineering, or DevOps roles.
Technical Skills:
- Cloud Platforms: Azure (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security)
- Automation & IaC: Terraform, JAMML, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub, GitLab, Octopus
- Configuration Management: Ansible, Chef
- Monitoring & Security: Logic Monitor, Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud
- Identity & Access Management: Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities
- Networking: VPN, ExpressRoute, WAF, DNS, VNET peering, Hybrid Cloud
- Database & Storage: Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Storage Accounts
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and cost-effective cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Design and automate infrastructure deployments using tools like Terraform, JAMML, GitHub Actions, and Ansible.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, and Octopus to ensure seamless delivery and infrastructure updates.
- Oversee cloud and on-prem operations including virtual machines, scale sets, storage, and networking components (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers).
- Drive infrastructure security through Azure Security Centre, Defender for Cloud, and Zero Trust principles.
- Configure and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring business continuity and data protection.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Logic Monitor) for proactive incident management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Infra, Application, and Security teams to deliver reliable solutions.
- Lead hybrid network setup and management including VPNs, ExpressRoute, DNS, firewalls, and private endpoints.
- Guide and support database deployments using Azure SQL, CosmosDB, and various Azure Storage services (Blob, File, Table, Queue).
- Promote best practices in identity management (Azure AD, Managed Identities, RBAC).
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DevOps and platform engineering teams.
