Position: Python Django Lead Developer
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: Pune / Indore / Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
What Youll Do
As a Python Django Lead Developer, you will take charge of backend system design, cloud integration, and large-scale data processing pipelines. Youll lead project execution, mentor junior developers, and shape high-performing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of scalable and secure Django-based backend systems
- Design, implement, and document robust RESTful APIs
- Integrate Azure Cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scaling
- Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams
- Review code for performance, quality, and adherence to best practices
- Optimize SQL and NoSQL data storage systems
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical strategy decisions
- Guide and mentor junior developers and peers on best practices
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience in backend development
- Minimum 8 years of Django framework expertise
- Experience in React.js
- Strong experience in Python programming and Django ORM
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (deployment, scaling, storage, and monitoring)/AWS
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control practices
- Understanding of application performance optimization and security best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good to Have
- Experience with data warehousing or analytics platforms
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools
- Exposure to frontend collaboration (React/Angular) and full-stack workflows
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
