Job Description
Job Overview:
We are currently looking for highly skilled and motivated Cloud Firewall Engineers to join our dynamic and growing cloud-firewall team. This is the opportunity best suited for professionals with hands-on experience in firewall management, cloud networking,automation engineers having networking and cloud experience .
The ideal candidates will not only bring deep technical knowledge of firewall concepts and containerized environments but will also be proficient in Selenium and Pytest automation frameworks, which is mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain firewall rules and network security policies within cloud infrastructures.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for firewall deployments and configuration management.
- Ensure the secure and seamless integration of firewall solutions with cloud platforms and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Cloud Engineering teams to align security practices with operational goals.
- Leverage Selenium and Pytest for automation testing and validation of firewall processes and security policies.
- Identify and resolve network performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Proactively monitor, assess, and respond to firewall alerts and incident reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 35 years of professional experience in firewall management, cloud networking, and automation.
- Proficiency in Selenium and Pytest for automation testing is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with firewall technologies, network protocols, and traffic filtering techniques.
- Expertise in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerized application security.
- Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Certifications related to cloud platforms or network security (e.g., AWS Certified Security, CCNP Security).
- Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines and triggering regression runs.
