Evangelise reusable assets, write and publish reference architectures, technical articles and create reference implementations to scale the technical best practices globally

Experience in mentoring junior level resources, consultants, and clients while leading internal initiatives to grow Services organisation practices

6+ years real-world hands-on Linux problem-solving skills

Working hands-on experience with public cloud and private clouds (on-perm) setups.

6+ years of hands-on experience with Cloud Computing, including infrastructure, networking, storage, platform; or experience with traditional enterprise data-center technologies, including virtualization, RDBMS, storage appliances and private networks

Exceptional hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Solid understanding of container runtime (eg Docker CE, containerd) & container orchestration using k8s
-
Working knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem and tooling (eg Helm, Istio, etc), familiarity with at least two K8s distributions, eg OpenShift, RKE2, EKS-A

Multi-cloud ready: proficiency in working with AWS, Azure, GCP

Working knowledge of DevOps methodologies, tooling (Git, Ansible , Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins etc) CI/CD

Extensive working experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc

Proficiency in at least two of the following programming languages: Bash, Go, Python, node.js, Rust, Java, etc

Working knowledge with at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB), NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), distributed key-value store (eg etcd) and Time-series DB (InfluxDB, TSDB)

Solid security foundation and best practices

Working experience with load balancing products like AWS ELB/ALB/NLB or similar, and other solutions like Nginx, HAproxy, Ingress controllers.

Working knowledge of SDLC, API Lifecycle, System Integration, MicroServices; Service Mesh, Serverless knowledge is highly desirable

Knowledge of Open Source architectures, past contributions to open source projects are highly regarded

Excellent customer-facing communication/expectation managing skills, strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and translating complex customer requirements into recommendations for appropriate solution architectures

CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) certification required (pass within 90 after on-boarding)
