The Operations Executive (NRA) will ensure the smooth functioning of non-retail account operations by managing payment processes, customer interactions, reconciliations, and compliance with company policies. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to meeting deadlines to support the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage payment processes, including sending reminders, booking and allocating payments, and addressing unadjusted credits.
Maintain financial records by updating ageing reports, customer ledgers, and issue logs.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies with relevant departments, including unbilled queries.
Prepare and send Statements of Accounts (SOAs) to customers upon request or as per schedule.
Approve policies in the IIRIS system and ensure compliance with company standards.
Address bounced cheques, review Proof of Delivery (POD) and Policy Pending Work (PPW) lists, and escalate breaches when necessary.
Monitor and provide updates on customer account ageing and payment settlements to the reporting manager.
Identify potential bad debts or legal cases and escalate them for appropriate action.
Respond to customer and producer queries, suspension notices, and reminders from insurance companies.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reconciliation issues and improve operational efficiency.
Develop monthly collection targets and track progress against them.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in operations, accounts management, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of payment processes, reconciliations, and customer account management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
