Role & responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver customized, integrated EaaS and CaaS solutions using a mix of technologies including solar, bioenergy, battery storage, energy efficiency, thermal energy storage, HVAC, and combined heat & power (CHP).
  • Lead the end-to-end solutioning lifecycle from customer needs assessment, technical feasibility, value engineering, and financial modelling to final proposal design.
  • Develop and continuously improve contractual frameworks, operating models, and financial model templates tailored to EaaS/CaaS business models (e.g., BOOT, ESCO, subscription-based).
  • Create and deploy robust technical evaluation tools and de-carbonization calculation methodologies aligned with global net-zero and emissions targets.
  • Ensure that all solutions remain future-ready, scalable, and adaptive to changing client requirements and evolving technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the solutioning team, ensuring high-quality output and innovative thinking.
  • Collaborate with clients and strategic partners to co-create medium- to long-term energy transition roadmaps, including actionable steps toward de-carbonization and energy independence.
  • Evaluate market and technology trends to identify emerging opportunities and incorporate best practices into solution architecture.
  • Coordinate for site visits, data collection, baseline, customization of proposed ECMs, cost benefit analysis, performance assurance.
  • Interaction with stakeholders for pricing, drawings, assessment of tender document, attending pre bid, client meeting, technical solution
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of client-facing proposals and presentations, simplifying complex technical content for diverse stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization in the solutioning process to enhance turnaround time and quality assurance.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) coupled with a Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, or related field (Electrical/Power Engineering/ Renewable Energy).
  • 810 years of experience in solution design, techno-commercial analysis, or technical consulting within EaaS/CaaS, renewable energy, or energy infrastructure domains
  • Minimum 5 years experience in air-conditioning system design, major retrofit works design involving chiller plant systems and/or energy audits of existing projects
  • Strong technical understanding of distributed energy systems, HVAC/Cooling technologies, energy efficiency solutions, and their commercial applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, business case preparation, and ROI analysis for energy service projects.
  • Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies, net-zero planning, and sustainability performance evaluation.
  • Energy Auditor/IPMVP/ISHARE/ASHARE certification
  • Experience working with multistakeholder clients across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools such as HOMER, RET Screen, AutoCAD, PV Syst., or energy modelling software, CAD/BIM such as Revit, Chiller Performance (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and client engagement skills.
