Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Admin Executive with 5+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and systems management. The ideal candidate will lead the coordination and execution of all IT functions, ensuring the systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all IT operations, including system architecture, networking, cybersecurity, and helpdesk support.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security frameworks, and business continuity plans to ensure optimal operational efficiency and security.
- Administer firewall configurations, VPN access control, and threat detection tools.
- Manage and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage solutions.
- Lead the projects using tools like JIRA for task management, issue tracking, and workflow optimization.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship and supervision to IT support staff, ensuring high levels of service delivery.
- Oversee IT asset management, vendor relationships, procurement, and budgeting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT management and systems/network administration.
- Proficient in JIRA for managing IT projects, tracking issues, and enhancing team collaboration.
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux server environments, cloud computing, and virtualization technologies.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of system security practices, data protection, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, and AWS/Azure certifications, are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines.
- Hands-on experience with backup solutions, system monitoring tools, and incident response processes.
- Ability to evaluate current IT systems, plan for scalability and ensure data integrity and business continuity.
