Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To design and implement Process Mining, text mining and Data Quality for HCL Software Client
Support data sources. To define the event data collection and transformation and the
visualizations (diagrams) that will allow Process Discovery (detection of the actual process
followed by Support staff and Customers). To identify areas for Process Enhancement.
To combine structured and unstructured data to create new insights into historical business
performance, make predictions and recommend process improvements.
To design and implement Data Quality controls for HCL Software Client Support data sources. To
improve how data is obtained and transformed. To design and implement metrics based on the
existing data to measure and improve business processes. To monitor and optimize queries,
reports and dashboards. To maintain the DataMart.

corporate clients worldwide from many locations around the globe. We are looking for an
experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team and improve the quality, integrity and
usability of the support data. The successful candidate will help directors, project managers and
support managers to understand the trends in the data produced by the support ticketing tools
and other sources, thus enabling the timely implementation of process improvements that
result in meeting customer satisfaction objectives.
Candidate profile
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Deep understanding of relational databases (such as Postgresql, others are also acceptable)
- Proficiency in SQL (extensive experience in how to write, analyze and optimize complex
queries, including how to manage indexes to improve performance)
- Experience with Data Modeling, DataMart, Data Warehouse concepts and implementations,
ETL jobs
- Solid understanding of Process Mining (Process Discovery, Process Modeling, Conformance
Checking, Process Enhancement) as described in: https://www.process-mining-summer-
school.org/
- Experience applying Deep Learning to Natural Language Processing (using Python and PyTorch
or TensorFlow/Keras or JAX). You are familiar with concepts like RNNS, CNNs, Transformers and
GenerativeAI. You can use existing LLMs for inference and you know how to fine tune models.
You have experience using models exposed via REST APIs.
- Experience with a programming language, preferably Python
- Experience in conveying high level information with Diagrams, Reports and Dashboards.
- Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to adapt the presentation style to
various types of stakeholders
- Experience working in an international and diverse environment
Experience with CRM tools like ServiceNow or SalesForce and RESTful APIs is a plus. Our stack
includes Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Python, Apache Airflow, Apache Superset, so experience with
any of these technologies is helpful. Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript is a plus.
