Job Description
- Design, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
- Manage network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Oversee IP address management and DNS/DHCP configurations.
- Lead a team of network engineers.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align network strategies with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Generate regular reports on network health, security posture, and incident response.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in network administration with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
