Automation Tester (Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber) Mandatory Skills: Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber Good to Have Skills: Work Location: Chennai, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chandigarh Job Overview: Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and BDD Cucumber frameworks. Participate in designing, implementing, and optimizing test automation strategies in a CI/CD pipeline environment. Execute automated tests for web applications, APIs, and database interactions to ensure software quality and reliability. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other testers to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage for all functional and non-functional requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated testing scripts, reporting bugs and working with development teams to ensure resolution. Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and deployment. Develop and maintain test cases and scenarios in line with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) practices using Cucumber and Gherkin. Perform API testing using tools and technologies, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the services. Validate data integrity and perform SQL queries to ensure proper database testing. Provide accurate and timely test execution reports and communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the stakeholders. Mandatory Skills: Java: Advanced proficiency in Java programming for automation development. Selenium: Expertise in using Selenium WebDriver for automating browser-based applications. BDD Cucumber: Strong hands-on experience in Cucumber for implementing BDD, creating feature files, step definitions, and executing tests. CI/CD Pipeline Testing: Experience in working with continuous integration and deployment systems to integrate automated tests. SQL: Ability to write SQL queries to validate and test databases.,
