       Your Job  We are looking for a  SAP ABAP Developer  to join the  Business Segments Delivery Team  supporting  Georgia-Pacific (GP) , a Koch company. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the ground floor of Koch Global Services (KGS) Indias expanding IT operations, helping build a world-class innovation hub. As part of a global team, you'll contribute to developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions that drive value across Koch Industries' diverse portfolio.  Our Team  You will be part of the  Georgia-Pacific team within KGS , working with a globally distributed team of developers, analysts, and architects. Our mission is to provide scalable, resilient, and high-impact SAP solutions that empower our business partners across Koch Industries.  What You Will Do  
  • Design and develop SAP ABAP solutions, including custom enhancements, forms, interfaces, workflows, and reports
  • Translate functional specifications into robust and scalable technical designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across India and the U.S. to deliver key SAP initiatives
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24x7 support for critical systems (on a rotational basis)
  • Lead code review sessions and contribute to best practices in SAP development
  • Embrace and implement modern SAP technologies like HANA, UI5, Fiori, and BTP
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high system availability and performance
  • Contribute to building an innovation-first culture by exploring and applying new SAP tools and methods
  • Advocate for sustainable solutions that focus on long-term value over short-term fixes

    •  Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)  
  • Minimum  6 years  of experience in SAP ABAP and ABAP on HANA development
  • At least  3 years  of hands-on experience with  UI5, Fiori , and  OData Services 
  • Experience with RICEFW objects and custom development using User Exits, BADIs, BTEs, and Enhancement Points
  • Proficiency in integration methods like EDI, ALE, IDOCs, RFCs, and BAPIs
  • Strong experience in SAP Workflow, debugging, performance tuning, and runtime analysis

    •  What Will Put You Ahead  
  • Experience with HANA-specific tools like  AMDP, CDS, ADB , and  CAP/RAP programming 
  • Familiarity with SAP Extended WM, Procure-to-Pay, Plant Maintenance, and Supply Chain modules
  • Proficiency in  SAP Eclipse ,  Solution Manager , or  SAP Cloud Platform extensions 
  • Experience with mobile development for RF or tablet-based devices
  • Prior experience with  SAP Data Archiving  and use of the  Switch Framework 

    •  Other Considerations  
  • Must be willing to participate in on-call support (12x7 rotational schedule for P1 issues, approx. once every 46 weeks)
  • Requires high-speed home internet and willingness to carry a company-provided smartphone
  • Occasional weekend and night shift support may be needed
