Job Description
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python.
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or AI-based applications.
- Proficient in AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, OpenCV etc.
- Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Snowflake).
- Publications, open-source contributions, or Kaggle competition experience.
- Exposure to NLP, computer vision, or generative AI models is a plus.
What is the work?
- Lead and mentor a team of Python and AI/ML engineers.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and end-to-end solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define project goals and technical specifications.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Architect backend systems using Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, Flask).
- Review code, ensure best practices, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Monitor and improve model performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing systems as appropriate.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
