Assist getting a person who have experience in Wireless product out of Cisco/Meraki/Ruckus/Juniper/Aruba/Extreme, at least 3 out of this.
Any cognizant location in India.
Expertise in Design/Operations/Maintenance of Wireless Networking and associated security systems. Result-oriented, quality-driven, business-savvy professional with broad IT exposure, technologically advanced IT/networking solutions to meet challenging multinational business demands.
Roles and Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of Engineer/Architect are as follows:
- Design/Operations/Maintenance/Implementation of Wireless Technologies and Products
- Conduct a Wireless network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies
- Support the sales team on RFP/RFI/RFS
- Design, analyze, plan, and modify Wireless network components supporting customer communication implementation activities
- Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
- Plan, design and implement Wireless networked systems, including configurations, and supports/troubleshoots network problems
- Develop and evaluate Wireless network performance criteria and measurement methods
- Prepare the analysis of the capacity needs for Wireless network infrastructure
- Build technical capabilities on next gen Wireless technologies
- Survey Wireless network requirements of remote customer offices, campus buildings, and Data Centers
- Prepare Wireless network equipment for deployment by loading appropriate software and configuration setting according to design templates
- Continually review the customer's Wireless network and practices looking for opportunities to enhance Wireless network functionality, performance and reliability.
- Assist in the evaluation of potential Wireless network products or technical solutions.
- Improve maturity and stability of Wireless setup, Manage and resolve Major Incident/P1, Review Critical changes in wireless Networks
- Dervie Wireless Network Automation use cases and support in implementation
- Contribute to the development of Wireless network documentation, including diagrams, standards, specifications and operating procedures.
- Monitor for opportunities to enhance the customer Wireless network/system performance or reliability.
- Provide third-level support and troubleshooting of network problems. Periodically provide after-hours and weekend support.
Technical Skills
Mandatory
- A solid understanding of Wireless network concepts such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, RF principles and security concepts in authentication, encryption, AAA, TACACS/RADIUS, and LDAP
- Experience with Enterprise wireless vendors (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper, etc.)
- Experience working with Cisco WLC and MSE models
- Experience working with Cisco Aironet 4800, 3800, 2800 Access points
- Strong understanding on Cisco ISE & Prime, Aruba Clear pass, wIPS
- SDN /SDWAN Technologies: Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki
- Wireless: Cisco and Aruba unified wireless architecture
- Cloud Networking: Azure, AWS and GCP networking skills
Good to have :
- Work experience on Ruckus Wireless
- Work experience on Juniper Wireless
Other:
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications are essential to include Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must possess both excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to manage time efficiently and a demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Must be highly organized and detailed oriented.
Qualification
- Education: Bachelors in Engineering
- Minimum of one technical certification in chosen technology desired
- Proficient in using MS office applications (MS Word, PPT, Excel, Visio, MPP)
Certifications
CCNP-Wireless, CCIE Wireless, CWNA, Aruba ACMP ( Preferred )
