About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications that handle large and complex datasets. You will be at the heart of our data operations, ensuring that data is processed efficiently, accurately, and is readily available for analysis and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code for data processing and application development.
- Perform complex data manipulation, transformation, cleaning, and analysis using Python's core data science libraries.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to ingest and process data from various sources into our databases and data warehouse.
- Write efficient and complex queries for both SQL and NoSQL databases to support application functionalities and data extraction needs.
- Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, testing, and documentation.
- Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python and a deep understanding of its data manipulation libraries, especially Pandas and NumPy.
- Database Knowledge: Demonstrable experience with databases is desirable. This includes proficiency in writing queries for relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large, intricate datasets.
Preferred & Advantageous Skills:
- Financial Services Context: Prior experience working in a financial services company (e.g., fintech, banking, asset management, capital markets) is a significant plus.
- Cloud Database Exposure: Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Snowflake, is highly advantageous.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Data Warehousing: Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Software Development Practices: Experience with version control systems (like Git) and agile development methodologies.
