What is the work?
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
- Develop robust APIs and web services to support frontend applications and external integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance in all backend processes.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- 4 5 years of strong experience with Ruby on Rails development.
- Proficiency in Ruby , Rails 6 or above , and object-oriented programming.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs , JSON , OAuth , and web services integration.
- Experience with PostgreSQL , MySQL , or similar RDBMS.
- Familiarity with JavaScript , HTML , CSS , and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Experience with RSpec , Capybara , or other testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker , Kubernetes , or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is advantageous.
- Experience with Sidekiq , Redis , ElasticSearch , or background job processing tools.
- Knowledge of GraphQL , Webpacker , or modern JS build tools.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub profile.
