Job Title: Project Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Cyber Security & COE to lead and manage cybersecurity projects, drive the development of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (COE), Training delivery program and ensure the implementation of security best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, cybersecurity frameworks, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Identify cybersecurity risks, mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Establish and develop the Cybersecurity COE, including best practices, training programs, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present status updates to leadership.
- Ensure secure deployment of technologies, tools, and security measures.
- Drive process improvements and best practices within the cybersecurity project management domain.
- Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity initiatives and provide guidance to teams on security best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 10+years of experience in project management, preferably in cybersecurity or IT security projects.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working with security tools such as SIEM, IAM, Endpoint Protection, etc.
- Experience in establishing and managing a Cybersecurity COE.
- PMP, PRINCE2, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications are plus.
- Strong, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Trello, etc.).
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in managing cyber security projects.
