Ideal Applicant:

Education: Chemical Engineer from a reputed institution 

Experience: 6+ years work experience in Safety and Risk.

Industry: Worked in an industry, preferably in chemical /petrochemical /power plant or an EPC consultancy company.

 

**This is a travel based job. Travel scope will be PAN India travel frequency will depend on business needs.**

 

Job Description:

1.  To carry out and perform risk engineering initiatives in line with the guidelines and policies of the company.
2.  Develop, evaluate & implement systems/procedures for development and implementation specialized Risk Engineering Services for Chemical, Petrochemical, Power and related industrial sectors.
3. Comprehensive Fire Safety Audits, HAZOP related studies, and similar risk engineering assignments. Perform audits of the machinery, safety equipment and management, programs to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety compliance to regulations & standards.
4. Work on industrial accidents, causes and preventive measures, analysis and report or review findings from accident investigation,risk assessment.
5. Review and provide design recommendations for new projects and proposed facility modifications to ensure conformance with process safety and loss prevention codes, standards and procedures.
6. Conduct loss prevention studies, presenting to clients and work on Risk Solutions including VAS products. 

 

Exposure:

1. The person should have worked in a Chemical Manufacturing firm or the manufacturing industry.
2. The person to have in-depth experience in risk engineering of complex processes, suggesting /implementing risk mitigation measures in the project /operational stage, including conducting risk audits for project and operational facilities. Risk Assessment, Safety Audits, Electrical Safety Audits, Thermography Audits, and Fire Protection Facility Gap Audits are the added advantages.
3. Hands-on experience in conducting Safety Audits, Comprehensive Fire Safety Audits, HAZOP-related studies, Electrical risk audits and similar risk engineering assignments.
