- Exciting Career opportunity at East India Technologies Pvt Ltd We are #hiring a Import Purchase Assistant/Deputy Manager (AM/DM) Department: Procurement/Purchasing Location: Surajpur , Greater Noida Job Summary: The Import Purchase Assistant/Deputy Manager (AM/DM) will be responsible for managing the procurement and importation of electronic parts. This role involves overseeing the entire process from supplier selection, cost negotiation, and compliance with customs regulations to ensuring timely delivery and managing import documentation. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electronic components, import regulations, costing, customs procedures, and IGCR (Input Goods Credit Rebate). Key Responsibilities: Electronic Parts Procurement: Source and procure electronic components from global suppliers. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms. Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure the quality and availability of parts. Import Management: Oversee the entire import process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods. Handle all import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. Costing & Budget Management: Prepare and analyze costing for imported goods. Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate budgeting and cost management. Monitor exchange rates and their impact on import costs. Customs & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations. Handle the process of customs clearance, including the preparation and submission of all necessary documents. Stay updated on changes in import/export regulations and customs tariffs. IGCR (Input Goods Credit Rebate): Manage the IGCR process to ensure timely credits for imported goods. Liaise with customs authorities and financial institutions to manage the rebate process. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all import transactions and related documentation. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and compliance issues. Provide insights and recommendations to improve the import process and reduce costs. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in purchasing, particularly in the import of electronic parts. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and IGCR. Excellent negotiation skills and experience in cost analysis. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience in the electronics industry. Knowledge of supplier management and quality control. Familiarity with global markets and exchange rate management. Certification in import/export management or supply chain management.
