Position Overview:
The Chief Product Engineering Officer (CPEO) is a key member of the executive team responsible for leading the end-to-end vision, strategy, design, development, and delivery of all technology products and platforms. This role integrates product innovation with engineering execution, ensuring rapid, scalable, and high-quality delivery of software and digital solutions. The CPEO will drive cross-functional alignment between product, engineering, design, and business to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Innovation:
- Define and own the long-term product roadmap aligned with company goals and market needs.
- Drive product innovation through market research, user insights, and emerging technology trends.
- Partner with commercial teams to prioritize features that deliver customer value and business impact.
Engineering Leadership & Execution:
- Lead global engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing products.
- Foster a high-performing engineering culture focused on quality, agility, reliability, and innovation.
- Oversee technical architecture, code quality, infrastructure, DevOps, and system security.
Organizational Leadership:
- Build and scale diverse, world-class product and engineering organizations.
- Mentor engineering and product leaders to support growth and leadership development.
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
Delivery & Operational Excellence:
- Implement modern agile development practices and metrics to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Continuously improve product development cycles, release velocity, and customer satisfaction.
- Own the full product lifecyclefrom concept to deployment to continuous improvement.
Technology & Platform Ownership:
- Lead technology vision and stack evolution, ensuring systems are future-ready and cost-effective.
- Make key decisions around build vs buy, cloud architecture, integrations, and scalability.
- Champion data-driven development and AI/ML-enabled features where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 23-28 years of experience in technology and product leadership roles, including CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Product Engineering.
- Proven success leading large-scale engineering teams (100+ FTEs) in high-growth, tech-driven companies.
- Strong product mindset with a focus on user experience, innovation, and market differentiation.
- Deep technical expertise in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security.
- Experience scaling platforms, especially in SaaS, enterprise software, or consumer tech environments.

Employment Type
