This is a high-impact role where you will lead the architecture and design of mission-critical systems that power user engagement for thousands of global brands. What You ll Do * Architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend systems handling billions of events and terabytes of data. * Design real-time campaign processing engines capable of delivering 10 million+ messages per minute. * Lead development of complex analytics frameworks including cohort analysis, funnel tracking, and user behavior modeling. * Drive architecture decisions on distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms. * Define technical roadmaps and work closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment and execution. * Collaborate across product, engineering, DevOps, and data teams to deliver business-critical functionality. * Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence through code and design reviews, best practice evangelism, and training. * Evaluate and implement tools and frameworks for continuous improvement in scalability, performance, and observability. What You Bring * 13+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with a strong foundation inJava or Golang and related backend technologies. * Proven experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures. * Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD, containerization (Docker,Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code. * Strong understanding of data processing at scale using Kafka, NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra), Redis, and RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL). * Exposure to stream processing engines (e.g., Apache Storm/Flink/Spark) is a plus. * Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into scalable systems is a plus. * Experience with application security, fault tolerance, caching, multithreading, and performance tuning. * A mindset of quality, ownership, and delivering business value.
