Job Description

Netpace Inc is looking for core DBA Professional to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

• As a Core Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance optimization of the organization's core databases
• This role involves ensuring the availability, security, and integrity of database systems, as well as collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders
• If you have a strong background in database management, a keen eye for performance optimization, and excellent problem-solving skills, this position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organization's data management initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Database Design and Implementation: Design and implement core database structures, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and security
• Database Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and updates, to ensure the availability and reliability of core databases
• Performance Optimization: Identify and implement strategies for performance tuning, query optimization, and efficient database operation
• Security Management: Implement and maintain database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor database systems, investigate and resolve issues, and ensure timely response to incidents related to core databases
• Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future database resource requirements and ensure scalability
• Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other IT teams to support database-related needs and projects
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to database configurations, processes, and best practices
• Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration tasks, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in database administration
