- Overview The Test Automation Full Stack role is a crucial position within our organization that directly contributes to the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Full Stack Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts across various layers of our applications, ensuring robust and efficient testing processes. Your expertise in technologies such as Cypress, JavaScript, Selenium, and API testing will play a vital role in the implementation of automated testing strategies that enhance our software's performance and functionality. You will collaborate closely with development teams, QA engineers, and product managers to identify test requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Your contributions will not only enhance product quality but also streamline the development process, reduce time-to-market, and ultimately lead to improved customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Design and implement automated test scripts using Cypress and Selenium. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for front-end and back-end applications. Perform API testing and validate response and performance metrics. Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and functionality. Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines. Conduct code reviews to ensure test script quality and adherence to standards. Identify and resolve defects and issues reported during testing. Collaborate with Product Managers to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria. Perform regression testing to maintain quality across releases. Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide testing updates during sprint meetings. Document detailed test cases and scenarios as per requirements. Analyze test results and prepare reports for stakeholders. Recommend improvements to testing processes and frameworks. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation. Mentor junior engineers in automation and testing best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation roles. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and relevant testing frameworks. Hands-on experience with Cypress and Selenium for automated testing. Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman or JMeter. Solid understanding of full stack development concepts. Experience with Agile methodologies and development environments. Ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient code. Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience in performance testing is a plus. Certifications in software testing or quality assurance are desirable.
