Job Description

This role will lead our Data Engineering team, focusing on tools, services and pipelines for Data scientist, analysts, threat researchers and internal partners. This manager will lead the Data Engineering team, developing tools, services, and pipelines for data scientists, analysts, threat researchers, and internal partners. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, product management, and security researchers to advance research and development while cultivating team culture and supervising direct reports.
 
What you'll Do:
  • You will lead development of next-generation experimental ML models that help customers identify and detect threats while establishing technical vision and roadmap.
  • You will manage a distributed team of engineers and technical leads, fostering collaborative culture while coordinating across time zones to deliver high-quality initiatives.
  • The role requires partnership with product management and engineering teams to translate experiments into customer-facing products that influence CrowdStrikes CTO organizational strategy.
  • You will own validation processes for internal services, implementing automated workflows that maintain CrowdStrikes high standards for security solutions.
What you'll Need:
  • 10+ years in development and shipping products.
  • 3+ years management experience with proven ability to lead technical teams
  • Hands-on technical leadership in Data Engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience with ability to scale processes
  • Programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages
Bonus Points:
  • Experience in cyber security space
  • Experience in AWS tools, distributed systems such as Kafka, cassandra
  • Experience in CI/CD tools and automation
  • Remote/distributed multi-team leadership experience
  • Understanding of CVE analysis,
  • Experience with organizational scaling, SDLC and process optimization
  • GenAI/Agentic AI automation experience
