Job Description
- Monitoring and Control: Continuously monitor pipeline operations from a control room, using SCADA systems to track flow rates, pressures, temperatures, and other critical parameters.
- Emergency Response: Respond to alarms, identify potential problems, and initiate appropriate actions to mitigate risks, including coordinating with maintenance teams and emergency services.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs on pipelines and related equipment.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pipeline operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with field personnel, other departments, and external stakeholders regarding pipeline operations and any issues that arise.
