Job Responsibility
Role Overview:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our Digital Finance Transformation team. This role is pivotal in driving the modernization and optimization of our finance systems landscape, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise across SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules, with a proven track record of delivering complex greenfield implementations and brownfield system conversions in large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture & Design
Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO-OM, CO-PA, Product Costing) in both greenfield and brownfield implementation projects, ensuring alignment with compliance standards.
- Business Engagement & Requirements Management
Collaborate with Finance leadership, Controllers, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate them into robust SAP solutions using best practices and industry benchmarks.
- System Integration & Cross-Module Expertise
Ensure seamless integration of FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems. Provide functional leadership on interdependencies and data flows across the enterprise landscape.
- Project Execution & Delivery
Drive key project phases including blueprinting, configuration, data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover planning, and hypercare. Ensure timely delivery of milestones within budget and scope.
- Enhancements & Continuous Improvement
Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and performance optimization within the finance ecosystem.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure all solutions adhere to internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations (e.g., GMP, GxP). Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to maintain system integrity.
Proven experience in:
- At least 1 full-cycle greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation
- At least 1 brownfield (system conversion) project
- Strong understanding of core financial processes: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Product Costing.
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA innovations including:
- Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- New Asset Accounting
- Fiori-based financial applications
- Experience with advanced SAP Finance components such as:
- Central Finance (CFIN)
- Group Reporting
- Treasury & Risk Management
