Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate dispensing of medications, counseling patients, and maintaining inventory and compliance with pharmacy regulations. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career pharmacists passionate about patient care and drug safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  
• Verify and validate prescriptions from physicians for correctness.
  
• Provide dosage instructions, usage guidelines, and storage advice to patients.
  
• Maintain proper records of dispensed medicines and pharmacy inventory.
  
• Monitor and manage expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
• Assist patients with Over-the-Counter (OTC) medications and general health advice.
  
• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with legal and professional standards.
  
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when needed.
  
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organised, and well-stocked.
