Job Description

Role & responsibilities

6-8 yrs  - Testing , Database testing, Query testing, more on Manual testing and SQL 

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand business and technical requirements to design comprehensive 
manual and automated test cases.
Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and senior team members to clarify 
requirements and resolve ambiguities.
Perform manual functional and regression testing, ensuring high-quality software 
delivery.
Able to design and develop an automation framework which works with UI, 
standalone java application and database
Design and implement automated test scripts for SQL-based scenarios to enhance 
test coverage and efficiency.
Execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.
Take ownership of quality assurance activities in the absence of senior team members, 
providing guidance and support to junior testers.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous 
improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in manual and automation testing, especially in SQL-heavy 
environments.
Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for data validation.
Proficient in test automation tools (e.g., BDD, Selenium, Postman, JUnit, or 
similar).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional 
teams.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving issues and improving 
processes.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
