Job Description
- Monitor the health of D365FO on-premises and cloud applications
- Configure and manage build definitions in Azure DevOps
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-level issues affecting D365FO on-premises and cloud applications
- Create, validate, and maintain X++ and application builds
- Resolve build failures and troubleshoot issues during the build process
- Plan and execute deployments for UAT, staging, and production environments
- Coordinate code and metadata deployment processes via LCS and SQL servers
- Manage service updates, patches, and hotfix deployments
- Work closely with developers, testers, and functional consultants to ensure build readiness
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure system compatibility
- Maintain detailed documentation for deployment scripts, schedules, and release notes
- Record rollback procedures and deployment-related learnings
- Ensure alignment of deployment strategies with business and compliance requirements
- Perform periodic health checks and apply performance optimization strategies
- Manage version upgrades and ensure compliance with Microsoft-mandated updates
- Coordinate vulnerability patching on application servers to adhere to security protocols
- Ensure uptime and performance of service fabric, VMs, and databases
What were looking for:
- More than 6-10 years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in applying vulnerability patches, managing SSL/TLS certificates, and ensuring compliance with security policies
- Understanding of security configurations for ERP environments
- Experience in managing D365FO on-premises setup, configuration, and deployment
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and application lifecycle management (ALM)
- Excellent troubleshooting and scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
- Good communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and maintaining service fabric and scale units
- Experience in configuration and maintaining local agents for connectivity between D365FO and LCS
- Experience in monitoring D365 environments using tools like Service Fabric Explorer, SCOM, and WhatsUp Gold, and generating utilization reports
- Experience in managing SSL, wildcard certificates, and ADCS, and performing certificate rotation before expiry
- Proficiency in handling virtual machines, load balancing, and firewalls
