Job Description
About the Role:
SHI is seeking a seasoned SME to join our internal IT team. This role is pivotal in shaping the company s global network infrastructure, driving innovation, and implementing secure, scalable solutions across a multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support enterprise-level network and security solutions.
- Lead data center and multi-site network buildouts, migrations, and DR planning.
- Oversee network performance, optimization, and security enforcement.
- Integrate cloud networks (Azure/AWS) with enterprise environments.
- Leverage automation (Python, Ansible, GitLab) to streamline operations.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto (Prisma Cloud, NGFW, Cortex XDR, Panorama, GlobalProtect)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking (BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Firewalls)
- Strong command over Cisco IOS, NXOS, MPLS, VXLAN
- Exposure to cloud networking (Azure or AWS)
- Experience with 802.1x, SAML/SSO , QoS, and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python, GitLab)
- Certifications like CCNP, PCNSE, NSE4-6, AZ-700 are a big plus
