Job Description

NOTE : The role is in Australia and we are providing sponsorship

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Appian BPM applications using Appian SAIL, Process Models, and Interfaces.
  
• Develop custom Java code to support Appian integrations and extensions.
  
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Integrate Appian applications with external systems using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and middleware.
  
• Optimize Appian applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  
• Perform unit testing, participate in system testing, and support UAT.
  
• Document technical design and application logic.
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles.
  

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Appian BPM development.
  
• Strong understanding of Appian architecture and Appian best practices.
  
• Proficient in Java/J2EE programming (Spring Boot preferred).
  
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
  
• Good understanding of SQL and working with relational databases.
  
• Experience with Appian plug-ins, CDTs, and Appian expressions.
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools is a plus.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  
• Prior experience in financial, healthcare, or insurance domain
  
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
