Role & responsibilities
1. Act as a finance business partner to drive business growth and sustainable margin
2. Partner closely with business leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans; regularly track actual performance against these plans and collaborate with sales and delivery teams to drive corrective actions that ensure revenue and performance stay on track with targets.
3. Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle management, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in line with accepted accounting principles. Drive accurate and timely billing, monitor collections, and take ownership of optimizing DSO
4. Monitor project and service delivery financials, working closely with delivery and project management teams to track margins, billability, and cost overruns, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
5. Collaborate with sales, delivery, and solution teams to assist in the preparation of financial aspects of solutions and proposals for new client contracts, change requests, and renewals.
6. Establish and institutionalize a robust mechanism for pricing rollup, governance, and review. Proactively recommend pricing levers, commercial constructs, and negotiation strategies to help achieve competitive, yet profitable, winning price points.
7. Customer Relationship Management: Lead and manage discussions with clients on commercial and contractual matters
8. Proactively understand business challenges and recommend financially viable solutions, leveraging scenario modeling and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate options and guide strategic and operational decisions.
