Job Description

You are an experienced and passionate Chef specializing in North Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. Your role involves preparing and cooking high-quality dishes such as curries, tandoori items, kebabs, and traditional breads. You will develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients while maintaining the authenticity of North Indian flavors. As a Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, manage inventory, and train junior kitchen staff. Your responsibilities include collaborating with management to design special menus for events, festivals, or promotions. You must maintain consistency in food quality and presentation during busy hours and special events. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in North Indian cuisine, expertise in traditional cooking methods, and strong kitchen management skills. Additionally, you should possess leadership abilities, creativity, and a passion for experimenting with new recipes. Preferred qualifications include experience in restaurants or hotels, knowledge of other regional Indian cuisines, and proficiency in menu planning, costing, and inventory management.
