Job Description

As a Tandoori Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of tandoori dishes, including kebabs, naan, and grilled meats. Your main focus will be on ensuring the quality and presentation of the dishes you create. It is crucial to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the tandoor oven to meet hygiene standards. Your role will involve working closely with the service team and other kitchen staff, emphasizing teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for menu planning, estimating food and labor costs, and controlling food stock and costs through effective inventory management. Training kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and ensuring they adhere to safety practices will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be in charge of ordering food, kitchen supplies, and equipment, as well as inspecting storage areas to prevent wastage and maintain cleanliness. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment, complying with safety practices, and using safe manual handling techniques are essential aspects of this role. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience. The work location is on-site.,
